Booking an Appointment With Us
We welcome families to contact us to discuss their needs.
We accept bookings direct from families, without a referral.
However, we do suggest that you see your GP and arrange a referral where possible. You may also arrange a referral through your Paediatrician, if relevant. We welcome collaboration with others involved in you or your child’s life, which may include your family Doctor, other specialists and allied health practitioners.
You will need to take our practice details and your preferred clinician’s name, to your GP or Paediatrician appointment for a referral.
Rebates are available for eligible clients:

Rebates available with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP/paediatrician. Please tell your GP when you book that you are interested in a MHTP.

What to expect from your appointments
When you make an appointment, we will advise you of the best approach for you or your family.
For younger children, we usually suggest an appointment with the parent/s first, to get a thorough assessment of your concerns and to best understand your child, family history and circumstances.
For older children and young teenagers, we would also like to see the parents at the initial appointment, but will split the time with your child as well.
For older teenagers, we will see them individually to start. With their co-operation we welcome parent and family input into their assessment and therapy process and we can discuss this with you and your teen during the process.
